Popular Twitter client Tweetbot has received a new iPhone and iPad update to add support for a handful of new widgets as well as some new features and gorgeous. New features include an iCloud sync status display and more. Four new icons have been added in this version 6.9 release. Support for 3rd Party Services: Tweetbot supports bitly, CloudApp, Droplr, img.ly, Instapaper, Mobypicture, Pinboard, Pocket, Readability, and yfrog. I went back to Safari, composed the same tweet, save for the last two characters and the tweet sent without issue. On the right, OS X's tweet sheet shows identical text being exactly at the 140-character limit. On the left, the same text and URL are entered on, showing the tweet is two-characters over the limit. It was then that I realized the problem according to Tweetbot I was two characters over the limit. So I copied the text of the tweet from Safari into Tweetbot and manually entered the URL.
